Wes McClintock 

Musician - Producer - Satirist

BIO

Wes McClintock is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, writer and producer. He spent much of his twenties performing comedy and playing/touring as a bassist in several different bands.  One of those bands, The Wilderness of Manitoba, received extensive airplay on CBC and was nominated for a Juno Award in 2014.  He was also a session bassist for Martha Johnson's (Martha and the Muffins) 2013 solo album "Solo One".  Wes has written and performed two musical comedies, with the autobiographical "Born Blue" doing a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2025.  He is also the creator of "No Service", a fan-fiction album made in the style of Pink Floyd, and "104.X The Ads", an apocalyptic comedy podcast which was featured on Adbusters website.  Wes' audio satire piece "Ug Wug: The Real Reason for Inflation" was one of eight finalists chosen for Canadaland's 2024 Local Correspondent Contest.  Wes is a professional voice over actor who is currently working on the upcoming Crave Original TV Show "West Harbour Heroes" which is debuting in June 2026. 

For the past two years Wes has been feverishly writing, recording and producing a full-length album,

"Rest In Sequence", a follow-up to 2023's "Open Dream" to be released in July 2026.
