I WAS BORN A DIFFERENT COLOUR  DUE TO A STRANGE OCCURENCE AT BIRTH

Although I survived this first hurdle seemingly unscathed, I often wonder if this event changed my brain chemistry.

Wes takes you on a musical journey through his unique life: from his odd family members; to performing stand up comedy; to touring in bands and finally coming to terms with who he really is.

This show is about a lot of things, but the through line is that we are all connected, and when we let down our walls and open up about our pain we can heal together. Drawing on his background as a comedian and musician, Wes seamlessly transmits this message through a mixture of narrative, original songs and stand up comedy. 

Born Blue just wrapped the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and had terrific audience reviews.
